Updating

If you have created a shortcut on your desktop, and receive a message stating that your software is out of date, then it needs to be updated.
There are 2 ways you can update your software.  Option 1 is the preferred option as it means your software will always be kept up to date as new software changes occur.  You will need to use Option 2 if you are using Outlook to send emails.

Option 1 - Use a web shortcut

  1. Run RentHQ from your desktop, and then right-click anywhere inside the software and choose the option 'Remove this application'.  If you dont see this menu options, you will need to go to your Windows Control Panel and choose Programs and Features, and remove RentHQ from there. This will remove the existing shortcut you have on your desktop.
  2. Then right-click anywhere on your desktop and choose New/Shortcut.
  3. In the location text box type https://www.renthq.net/manager.aspx  and then press Next.
  4. For the name of the shortcut, type RentHQ and choose Finish.
